Great mixture of activities which get the children thinking about the skills and qualities needed to build a business. The children have to work in teams to develop their own business to make a profit, working together to make decisions about how best to maximise their production to create quality products. They have to use their budgeting skills in order to plan a family holiday, learn to make compromises on their choices in order to stay within budget. The afternoon activity requires the children to think carefully about the product, price, premises and promotion of their revamped business. A very useful day of learning in a fun, interactive way

My only suggestion would be to include opportunities for the children to talk more about their future aspirations. Otherwise it was great. Thank you!

The workshop is really informative and well-designed with this age group in mind. Resources are well organised and delivery of sessions is clear. It's always a welcome bonus to have the additional volunteers in class to support the group work. It's lovely to see the children cooperating in teams to problem solve and their enthusiasm in the trading game is always a winner.
